Character Name : Meiou Omi

Race : Born human (we think). No one is quite sure what she is now.

Description : Performs illegal genetic modifications. For the most part, appears to be a normal Japanese woman, but has bluish-black hair and long, reinforced fingernails. Wears a jumpsuit with cutout sections at the sides and on the sleeves and legs, as well as a TNG-style doctor's lab coat. Does not appear to take much interest in other people at all, for any reason other than business. Wears a phaser because it's the norm, but has never been known to use it...or any other weapon, including her fingernails, for that matter. Also skilled with biological weapons and cybernetic modifications of classes normally restricted to high-ranking Starfleet personnel. Has certainly attracted the negative attention of at least one Clan of the Athmari, may possibly have stolen some of their technology. By Jareth/Seleyn's lack of animosity toward her, one must assume that Clan Betandi at least partially approves of the disruptions she's caused. A big fan of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Ghost in the Shell."
