Pulser Specs Sheet
As originally described in my profile of Tora Melain (I think), pulsers are Athmari weapons similar in design to phasers. They use small charges, each capable of one shot of varying intensity. The diameter of a pulser shot can vary from about 500 to 1000 mm (.5 to 1 cm) in black market grade pulsers. Each shot is similar to a bullet in shape and burns its way through the target. Larger shots are slower; precision must be sacrificed to maximize pain. All pulsers hold clips of 36 charges; reload time for an experienced user is about the same as with a gun. Reload time for an experienced Athmari (or genetically/cybernetically enhanced) user is significantly less. Some more advanced designs have built-in sensorproofing but this costs significantly more. One last warning: anything obtained through the black market is sure to be less powerful than the ones used by Athmari of the noble houses or Imperial Guard, probably on a level with pulsers owned by merchants or common military officers.

But pleeese contact me before saying that a pulser was stolen from a noble or member of the Imperial Guard. In most cases, that would have to be one heck of a fight, something that would make a great story.
