Description : The only son and youngest child of Shanin Betandi and Lukaya Vi. Greatly resembles his father. A student of theoretical mathematics, he is currently Shanin's bookkeeper. This job tends to keep him out of trouble, but his erratic bursts of curiosity still cause problems from time to time.

Bond-Animal : Is bonded to a joiner spirit but no one knows its name, including Tarlen.

Magic Powers : Able to re-balance Diamond Shard's tax returns so that Shanin gets a refund every time and is absolutely audit-proof. Along the lines of more conventional magic, has the same mental shielding as other Athmari but to an extreme degree. So mind-blind that he is actually resistant to blacksending because he just doesn't pick it up. He also has an uncanny ability to get others to do whatever he wants by simply using a special tone of voice, much like the Bene Gesserit in "Dune."
