Description : Tora is the daughter of Kymil Betandi. Like her father, she believes that Shanin Betandi was supposed to have been Kymil's mate...and thus harbors great animosity towards her. 1.7 meters tall and extremely lithe, Tora has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is currently posing as a Betazoid to avoid notice. Her ears have, therefore, been surgically altered and she has been outfitted with a device which generates false bioreadings (implanted beneath her left shoulderblade). She dislikes all other races and takes every opportunity to enjoy a little minor - or not so minor - sadism toward a member of another species. Determination has erased the last traces of her Athmari accent, as well as a great deal of the outer evidence of her perceived superiority, but she still suffers from the impulsiveness and intense need from revenge that drove her to infiltrate Ghidorah, hoping to find n'S'aryn collaborators, despite orders to the contrary.

Uniform Personalisation : Standard uniform with a little dagger pin attached across from the rank pip. She generally carries a phaser, due to the need to remain camouflaged, but prefers a pulser, which is a particularly nasty Athmari energy weapon using energy projectiles. Has a pulser hidden in a sensor-proof box in her quarters just in case all hell breaks loose.

Bond-Animal : none; accompanied by the energy being Melain (This has given her away to Lieutenant Moonstone, whose ability to sense the joiner spirits bonded to Athmari was heightened by her acceptance of another spirit, Drilaris, in "TANSTAAFL!" However, Moonstone cannot expose Tora without admitting her own connection to the Athmari...) Her use of 'Melain' as a last name is exceptionally arrogant, as any other hidden Athmari aboard Ghidorah - or a telepath with only minor knowledge of the true relationship between Athmari and joiner spirits - could use it against her.

Magic Powers : Sending. She is slightly below average as far as Betazoids are concerned, but Athmari would consider her exceptional.
